Herbalist, author, entrepreneur, and herb school director Holly Bellebuono and her partner David Vigneault, housing director and disabilities professional, will warmly welcome you to Greece.

Our lodgings

We will enjoy three homes-away-from-home during our adventures in Athens and on Crete: two hotels and a gorgeous villa with a pool and expansive view of the sea.

Food and Flavors

Indulge in the traditional cuisine of Crete, sampling flavors from desserts to wines to honeys to delicious meals. We will enjoy a variety of eateries, from restaurants to farmsteads.

Join fellow plant, myth, and history lovers for the trip of a lifetime

Our trip will be hosted by herbalist Holly Bellebuono and her husband David Vigneault; Holly has shared her passion for plants in Costa Rica, Canada, England, Italy, and across the US. An herbalist and teacher of 30 years, she is the author of 8 nonfiction books published in 3 languages, including Women Healers of the World, The Healing Kitchen, and The Essential Herbal, and she directs The Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine.

Your trip will be easy and well-organized, with all transportation and entry fees included, plus many meals. This is your chance to explore the ancient marvels of Athens and Crete in comfort and in the congenial company of others eager to explore and learn.

Payment Schedule:

1st Payment Shared room (couples or singles), per person: $1,400pp, due now 

1st Payment Single Private Upgrade: $2,200, due now (sold out)

2nd Payment: $1,500 shared/ $1,700 single, due Feb 28, 2026

Final Payment: $1,700pp is due June 1, 2026

Refunds:

All payments are nonrefundable for any reason. Please choose an insurance provider to purchase travel insurance.

Payment options: We accept personal checks by mail; Venmo; and credit card payments through our website. Credit card payments include a small card fee.

Not included in the trip: tips, 6-7 dinners, airfare to Greece (though flights from Athens to Crete ARE included), and items of a personal nature (such as phone calls and laundry).

Timing of First Day: We will meet as a group at our hotel in Athens at 3:00pm on September 23, and begin our journey then. Please arrive in Athens that morning or the day before, and let us know if you need us to arrange private transfer from the airport to our hotel (at a separate fee). Hotel and other travel information will be provided once we receive your deposit.
